 Hollings announces 2018 Fellowship awardees

The Hollings Cancer Center (HCC) Fellowship Program is an exciting new research program designed to train the next generation of exceptional cancer scientists at the Medical University of South Carolina. This prestigious program will initially fund up to 5 two-year postdoctoral fellowships (PhD or MD) and up to 5 two-year graduate student fellowships.

To reach the goal of living in a cancer-free world, a multidisciplinary approach must be taken to find cures for this complex, insidious disease. HCC encourages applicants from diverse fields of study in either the basic, translational, population or clinical sciences to apply. Fellowships will be awarded to those with the greatest potential to become independent cancer researchers and compete for extramural grants. The HCC anticipates adding undergraduate, medical student, and international fellowships in the near future.
