Radiation Oncology Treatment Options

Radiation oncology (also called radiotherapy or radiation therapy) is a cancer treatment that uses high doses of radiation to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors. Over the course of your treatment, the cancer cells will die or slow their growth and other symptoms caused by the tumor will lessen.
