To determine the efficacy of Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs) live online (LO) relative to the meditation only (MO) control group on depressive symptoms, as indicated by the difference in CES-D change score from baseline to post-intervention between the intervention and control groups. To explore the lived experiences of adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors of head and neck cancer (HNC), focusing on how diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship have shaped their daily lives, identities, and social relationships. To describe and interpret common psychosocial, functional, and existential challenges encountered during survivorship, including issues related to communication, eating, appearance, and reintegration into peer groups.
