About the Program

Our Pediatric Cancer Program is part of the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Program at MUSC Children’s Hospital, South Carolina’s largest and most comprehensive pediatric health care center. We offer your child the latest diagnostic and treatment options in a caring environment designed especially for children. Our collaborative program brings all the needed expertise to the child’s side in a single coordinated effort with kids often completing tests, imaging, and advanced diagnostics in a single visit.

Leading Pediatric Cancer Research

MUSC has the only basic science researchers in South Carolina dedicated to pediatric cancer research. Our team has been awarded grants from Hyundai Hope on Wheels, St. Baldrick’s Foundation, the Children’s Oncology Group, and the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research.

Our young patients also benefit from the tremendous work of the Medical University of South Carolina'sCharles P. Darby Children’s Research Institute – the largest and most comprehensive pediatric research facility in the Carolinas.
